In addition to optimizing the functions<\/a> you already use every day, it includes many innovative functionalities that will allow you to plan with even more efficiency.<\/p>\n Various methods are available to select a set of jobs<\/strong>:<\/p>\n + Shift click <\/strong>on the last job sharing the same material type (Type C):<\/p>\n We have brought the following changes for moving of a set of jobs<\/strong> (multiple selection):<\/p>\n Before movement<\/p><\/div>\n <\/p>\n After movement: The jobs remain together<\/p><\/div>\n <\/p>\n Multiple selection before movement<\/p><\/div>\n <\/p>\n After movement: The selected jobs are grouped<\/p><\/div>\n <\/p>\n Multiple selection before grouping<\/p><\/div>\n <\/p>\n After grouping: Moved jobs are aligned with the leftmost job<\/p><\/div>\n <\/p>\n For \u201clong distance\u201d movements, you no longer need to use the drag and drop function: You can now simply select your job, go to the drop location, do a right click on the planning background and click on \u201cMove selection here<\/strong>\u201d.<\/p>\n If you wish to move your selection to a location where the planning already includes jobs, you can still display this context menu by right clicking right above the job.<\/p>\n The addition of the \u201cMove selection here<\/strong>\u201d option replaces the Cut and paste function (and associated shortcut Ctrl+X) that was rarely used in Industry mode and Project mode because it broke the links.<\/p>\n Selected jobs<\/strong> are now more visible<\/strong> thanks to a grey box that sticks out from the job:<\/p>\n Regarding the selection of multiple jobs:<\/p>\n Route links <\/strong>for all selected jobs are now displayed:<\/p>\n The vertical repositioning<\/strong> of the planning has been removed<\/strong> because it could be inconvenient during a drag and drop operation.<\/p>\n In the context menu<\/strong> of a job, we have retained the \u201cCopy (Ctrl-C)<\/strong>\u201d function.<\/strong><\/p>\n The Paste<\/strong> shortcut (Ctrl+V<\/strong>) remains available to copy the selected job right behind it.<\/p>\n Right clicking on the planning background reveals a new option (\u201cPaste here<\/strong>\u201d), which is available to perform the copy in a specific location:<\/p>\n The former duplication action \u201cCtrl+Drag and drop\u201d has been removed because it was too risky.<\/p>\n This brand new functionality is available from the ribbon and from various context menus (e.g. on the name of a machine on the left side of the planning).<\/p>\n You can also access it rapidly by selecting a job and pressing Ctrl+P.<\/strong><\/p>\n This feature allows you to schedule jobs by dragging and dropping<\/strong> them vertically in a special list, in conjunction with scheduling via le the Gantt chart that you are already familiar with:<\/p>\n List of scheduled jobs and jobs to schedule colorized by material code.<\/p><\/div>\n <\/p>\n The left side of this window displays some standard columns that cannot be changed. The right side allows you to customize the columns for this shop floor (with a right click on the column header). This way, you can view as columns the technical data<\/a> that are useful for the scheduling.<\/p>\n For a given section, you can configure the background colour of the \u201cEnd<\/strong>\u201d and \u201cLock<\/strong>\u201d columns, for example as per an important technical data<\/strong> for this section.<\/p>\n In these lists, you can select one or more jobs<\/strong> and drag and drop<\/strong> them to their desired location.<\/p>\n When you enter a column header filter<\/strong> (e.g. a material code) a background colouration allows you to identify the lines that match this criterion.<\/p>\n The lower part of this list displays the In the same section, the buttons A click <\/strong>in the table also selects<\/strong> the job in the Gantt and conversely.<\/p>\n A double-click<\/strong> in the list allows you to refocus the Gantt<\/strong>, by bringing that job into focus<\/strong>.<\/p>\n In the list, a column of green pictograms<\/strong> allows you to view whether the jobs are grouped or not in the planning:<\/p>\n This list is not intended to be opened all the time because managing the list and the Gantt simultaneously has a negative impact on response times.<\/p>\n On the left<\/strong> side of the planning, a right click<\/strong> on the name of a machine now displays the configurable lists<\/a> that are specific to that machine (as well as the general lists which do not filter any machine in particular):<\/p>\n We have reorganized and simplified<\/strong> the ribbon, including the \u201cHome<\/strong>\u201d tab:<\/p>\n Direct Planning 3.1<\/p><\/div>\n <\/p>\n Direct Planning 3.2<\/p><\/div>\n <\/p>\n as well as every context menu<\/strong> (right click):<\/p>\n Right click on a job in Direct Planning 3.1 (left) and Direct Planning 3.2 (right).<\/p><\/div>\n <\/p>\n For display modes<\/a> without flags, an inactivity area crossed by a job could be hard to spot.<\/p>\n Thanks to an increase of the line height<\/strong>, such jobs are now visible in all cases<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Keyboard shortcuts<\/strong> are now better indicated in menus.<\/p>\n If select a job on a machine, the \u201cAlt+End<\/strong>\u201d shortcut now takes you to the last job for this machine, whereas the \u201cAlt+Home<\/strong>\u201d takes you to the first \u201cunfinished\u201d job for this machine.<\/p>\n Offering the same functionality as the \u201c+\u201d and \u201c-\u201c keys on the numeric pad, the new shortcut \u201cCtrl+Shift+Mouse wheel<\/strong>\u201d allows increasing or reducing temporarily the scope of visualisation for the planning.<\/p>\n Job highlighting is now visually more pronounced:<\/p>\n In the edition of a display mode<\/a>, under the \u201cJob display\u201d tab, deletion icons ( and the By default, the workload histogram<\/strong><\/a> now opens with a more relevant scope of visualisation: 3 weeks<\/strong>.<\/p>\n For a faster access, the \u201dCalendars<\/strong>\u201d tab now includes a button called \u201cCalendar of time scale<\/strong>\u201d:<\/p>\n As a reminder, it defines the periods of time to hide via the \u201cCompact time scale<\/strong>\u201d function.<\/p>\n A tooltip<\/strong> on each inactivity area <\/strong>now informs you about its start time and its end time:<\/p>\n From the search window, a double click <\/strong>on a job selects and centres<\/strong> the planning on that job. However, a little job could be hard to locate.<\/p>\n A more contrasted display<\/strong> of the selected job as well as an animated arrow<\/strong> now provide a clear visualisation<\/strong> of the location of the searched job:<\/p>\n In the search result, the right click menu now includes a new entry \u201cFilter this value<\/strong>\u201d.
